Delicious FALL fruit! Blackberries, raspberries and their kin are always thought of as summer fruits. They bring their chin-dripping goodness to 4th of July celebrations and summer sorbets and they only fruit for a few weeks. But, come the chill of autumn, they are long gone. Not anymore! Autumn Bliss raspberry delivers its juicy sweetness from August till the first frost. Autumn Bliss is a popular modern raspberry with stout canes that are shorter than average. The fruit comes on canes that grow the same year, so every winter, cut Autumn Bliss back to ground level and watch as it shoots up year after year. This variety is very prolific. It is disease and aphid resistant. It produces large deeply flavored berries over a long season that starts in August and runs unabashedly until the first frosts. Autumn Bliss has received the prestigious Award of Garden Merit from The Royal Horticultural Society in the UK, which only goes to show how great this plant will be in your own garden. Add a few of the autumn producing vines in with your summer producers for months of delicious berries in your own backyard! Nature Hills only ships healthy, field grown plants. Fragrant and Prolific Sweet Autumn Clematis, Clematis paniculata, is a deciduous vine with a rampant growth habit and reaches 10' to 20' high. The scientific name actually has changed over the years. First, this plant was known as Clematis paniculata. Then it changed to the unpronounceable Clematis maximowicziana. The white, citrus-scented flowers fade into feathery seed heads, and last until winter. Sweet Autumn Clematis prefers loamy, somewhat moist, well-drained soil. Provide a location where its head is in the sun and toes in the shade. Mulch around bottom to keep ground temperatures cool and moist. Give the Sweet Autumn Clematis direct sun to encourage their large, showy blooms, but it will tolerate some shade. Sweet Autumn Clematis attaches to supports with twining leafstalks, and it will climb up trellises, walls, poles, trees and over shrubs. Super easy drought resistant beauty Autumn Fire Sedum, Sedum spectabile 'Autumn Fire', is a wonder-plant for your garden. Once blooming, the color is non-stop. Bold clusters of closely packed, rosy pink flowers show up in late summer, gracefully age to a salmon-pink bronze and finish with a deep copper-red in fall. Autumn Fire Sedum is an easy-to-grow plant that not only tolerates drought, but even seems to thrive in it! This is a great improvement over the garden staple, Autumn Joy sedum. It is a classic upright sedum with large flower heads that are held out nice and flat. The strong stems hold up much longer into the fall than Autumn Joy, too. Plants are easy in almost all soils and grow in full sun to part shade. The waxy blue-green succulent-like stems highlight the flowers. If you leave the stems on throughout the winter you'll see that they look great in the snow with their rusty red color. Butterflies and bumblebees love the Autumn Fire Sedum. Plants are useful in borders, rock gardens, or as a filler. Mix these in with daylilies, phlox and sages for a great show all summer into fall. * Long season of bright color * Thick filler plant * Easy care and winter hardy

It is manufactured according to the old Zhostovo painting tradition the details of which you may find below. This is a top quality 100% authentic Russian Zhostovo tray that would make an excellent gift to anyone. MORE INFO / RELATED STORY: ZHOSTOVO PAINTING Zhostovo painting is one of the traditional types of Russian decorative work developed in the village of Zhostovo of Mytishi region, Moscow oblast. It appeared at the beginning of 19th century under the influence of Ural flower painting on metal. Zhostovo painting is essentially drawing on metal trays preliminarily covered by several layers of thick putty and oil varnish (normally, of black color). The painting itself is accomplished in several consequent stages; soft brush and oil-colors (richly mixed with linseed-oil) create an impression of an energetic and elastic touch. Stylistic development of Zhostovo painting is closely related to Russian porcelain and enamel painting of Moscow region's plants and factories, as well as with the flower motifs of printed Ivanovo cottons and P.V. Lukutin miniature. The main motif of Zhostovo painting - a flower bouquet - is simple and laconic in its composition: larger garden flowers are combined with smaller wild flowers; the actual shape of a flower is conveyed through a three-dimensional painting technique; and all this is being brought together by a decorative richness of multi-color solution closely related to the traditional Russian brush-painting on chests and distaffs. Tray edges are finished with a golden ornamental pattern (also known as 'uborka'). The completed painting is covered by three layers of light varnish, being further polished to mirror luster.
